For more protection, the system is also equipped with mechanical and electrical overspeed.
In 2014, the first governor for Azad power plant in Iran was built by Durali System Design and Automation Company. This governor has been successfully operated since its installation (2015).
These governors designed and built in accordance with IEC and IEEE standards.
For all three governor units of Azad hydro power plant, the work steps include mechanical hardware design, logical and detailed design, selection of control circuit elements and equipment controller panel design. Construction management and approval testing in the workshop, inspection and preparation of equipment for site transportation, monitoring installation, commissioning, inspection and field tests on the site, instructions and technical documents are also done by DSDA.
